Freedom Film Festival

FreedomFilmFestival (FFF) is Malaysia’s most established annual human rights film festival. Established in 2003, the festival focuses on the themes of Democracy, Equality and Good Governance.  It seeks to be a platform for filmmakers and activists especially in the South East Asia region and beyond to showcase their films and exchange experiences.

Nuremberg International Human Rights Film Festival

Germany, Nuremberg

NIHRFF is Germany’s oldest and biggest human rights film festival. With its art house cinema background, it is the leading forum for outstanding feature films, documentaries and animated productions, which have human rights as their main focus.

Vermont International Film Festival

The Vermont International Film Festival (VTIFF) is Vermont’s longest running film festival and 2015 marked its 30th anniversary! The Paris / Ile de France Human Rights International Film Festival  was created on the understanding of two basic premises. Cinema and especially documentary cinema is the most efficient tool to raise awareness on Human Rights and defending Human Rights across the world and in France.

Verzio International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival

Hungary, Budapest

The only human rights documentary film festival in Hungary, Verzio, has been organized by Verzio Film Foundation and OSA since 2004. Its program addresses a wide range of issues, including: political oppression, civil conflicts, terrorism, minorities, refugees, women's rights, trafficking, and children's rights.

this human world was founded in 2008 in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights as Austria´s first human rights film festival of its kind.

Karama Human Rights Film Festival

Jordan, Amman

The Karama Human Rights Film Festival was set up in Jordan to respond to the need for human rights dialogue and advocacy in the Arab region. Karama, means 'dignity' in Arabic. Recent massive upheavals in the Arab region made it imperative to seek the exchange of expression, ideas, opinions and experiences on human rights issues across the region and the world.
